Présentation

Benoit Lecomte's work explores the intersection of jazz and classical music. His music is deeply rooted in improvisation, while his technique and musical sensitivity are firmly grounded in the classical tradition. He remains unwaveringly faithful to the legacy of the great classical guitar masters such as Andrés Segovia, Julian Bream, and John Williams. At the same time, his passion for swing, bebop, and improvisation has enabled him to forge his own distinctive place in the world of guitar.
Alongside his performing career, his dedication to teaching and composition led him to establish the JAZZIC DIFFUSION association, which supports classical musicians who wish to explore contemporary styles and develop their improvisational skills.

A lifetime spent exploring the worlds of classical music and jazz, while embracing the constant evolution of music through the years, has brought me to where I am today. I now perform on electric guitar, drawing inspiration from the rich diversity of contemporary music.
This is why I've created a new section on my website, "Jazzic 2026," where I share what I'm currently working on. My hope is to connect with musicians who are open to music without boundaries and eager to explore new musical horizons together.
